Tread in the footsteps of England’s most famous playwright William Shakespeare!
Depart for Stratford Upon Avon with a stop en-route at Stratford Butterfly Farm where hundreds of spectacular and vibrant butterflies fly around you. Take an afternoon cruise on the River Avon, an ideal introduction to the town its history and culture, before heading to your accommodation to allocate rooms. After your evening meal see a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
Spend the day visiting the five houses of Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust; Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Mary Arden’s Farm, Hall’s Croft and Nash’s House/New Place. From literature to heritage, sessions will be directly useful to your students curricular and examination requirements. Evening meal back at your accommodation. After dinner take a ghost walk and discover Stratford’s gruesome past!
Depart your accommodation on the final day and head over to Cadbury World where a self-guided tour of the visitor centre will take you through fourteen zones totally dedicated to the nation’s favourite chocolate brand. After lunch either take the time for shopping or simply head home.
